Chef
The Role
As a Part-Time Chef, you will work alongside our Head Chef/Sous Chef to ensure smooth, efficient service. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard, maintaining immaculate food safety, and helping keep the kitchen running like clockwork during peak times.
Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery: Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes quickly and beautifully, even during our busiest rushes.

Prep Work: Ensuring your station is fully stocked, prepped, and ready for service.

Food Safety: Maintaining strict compliance with food hygiene, allergens, and health and safety regulations (SFBB / Safer Food, Better Business).

Teamwork: Communicating clearly with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to keep service seamless.

Stock Management: Keeping track of waste, labelling food correctly, and ensuring correct rotation (FIFO).
About You
We are looking for someone reliable who can walk into a busy kitchen and immediately add value.
What we’re looking for:

Experience: Previous experience working as a Line Chef, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (pub or casual dining experience is a massive plus).

Skills: Strong knife skills, a solid understanding of cooking techniques, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Credentials: A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is highly preferred.

Attitude: A positive, "can-do" attitude, punctuality, and a genuine passion for teamwork.

Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
